Mr. Hector R. Lim, Jr. is a Filipino, Chemical Engineer who has specialized in Disaster Preparedness, Mitigation and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology. He is currently working as a Technical Coordinator (Chemical Accident Prevention and Preparedness) in Asian Disaster Preparedness Center. Prior to his career at ADPC, he has been a Consulting Engineer for environment and new &renewable energy for 4 years; taught in a university for 2 years; and involved in community development for 4 years. His involvement with ADPC since early 2009 is focused on chemical accident prevention and preparedness, involving existing tools on Awareness and Preparedness for Emergencies at the Local Level (APELL) Responsible Production and Flexible Framework. He is also currently involved in recovery, partnerships on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction, project in ADPC.
