Mr. Abolfazl Abesht graduated from DPMM in May 2010. He is now working as a Research Associate in Geo-informatics Center at AIT. His specialization is in Remote Sensing and GIS application; Disaster Risk Reduction; Rangeland and Watershed Management and Drought Monitoring and Management. His background is in Natural Resources Engineering (Range and Watershed Management) as his bachelors degree is from University of Mazandaran in Iran (2000). He was also involved in various other jobs as consultant, project manager, IT specialist and watershed engineer. Besides these, he worked as a Protection Clerk in UN High Commissioner for Refugees during 2005/06.
