Mr. Md. Bayezid Islam, from Bangladesh, has completed his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Sceince & Technology (AUST) in 2012. After that he was working as a consultant engineer of Water Management Improvement Project (WMIP), funded by World Bank in Bangladesh before coming to AIT.

In January 2015 he joined the AIT DPMM program with the aim to contribute in the Disaster related fields of Bangladesh, as geographically, Bangladesh is considered to be one of the most disaster prone areas in the world.
